Audi has not yet announced the prices for the more expensive versions of its new SUV. These details will comecloserThe Q4 E-Tron will go on sale by the end of this year.
The entry-level Q4 E-Tron will have rear-wheel drive rather than all-wheel drive, although more expensive versions will have all-wheel drive.) The most affordable model can travel around 250 miles for a fee, according to the German luxury brand. The basic model’s electric motor delivers a maximum output of201 hp. More expensive all-wheel drive versions with electric motors in the front and rear of the vehicle can produce up to 295 hp.
The Q4 E-Tron will be available in two slightly different body styles, a regular crossover SUV and the Sportback version. The Sportback, which will only be available with all-wheel drive, will have a more sloping rear. Besides the aestheticsDifference, this shape also has slightly better aerodynamics.
In all-wheel drive versions of the Q4 E-Tron, the front engine is only used in situations where more power or traction is required. Most of the time, the SUV is only powered by the rear wheels.
Externally, the Q4 E-Tron is slightly larger than the Audi Q3, the smallest SUV that Audi offers in the USA. In the interior, however, Audi executives boast that the interior is similar to that of the larger Audi Q5. Electric vehicles tend to have more interior space than similarly sized gasoline cars. This is because electric motors are more compact than gas engines of similar power and electric vehicles don’t need bulky transmissions with different gears.
Like other Audis and most other new vehicles, the Q4 E-Tron also has distinctive daytime running lights. These are lights around the headlights. They remain switched on during the day to make the vehicle more visible and to achieve a distinctive appearance. Unlike most vehicles, however, Audi Q4 E-Tron drivers can switch between four different patterns for the daylights.
