Former child star Jojo, 30, looks unrecognizable as she shows off her mature new look – and reveals that she became famous when she was 13
She rose to fame in 2004 at the age of 13 with the hit “Leave (Get Out”).
And on Friday, Joanne ‘Jojo’ Levesque showed that she is an adult while appearing on Australia’s Today Extra.
The now 30-year-old singer looked very different than when she was a child star.

She now has short blonde curly hair with dark roots and wearing heavy, dark makeup.
During the interview, Jojo admitted that she developed a huge ego as a teenager after becoming famous overnight.
“I did it as well as possible. I mean, my head definitely got big, ”she said.

“I was pretty excited about myself. I was an only child, ”she continued.
“I lived my dream and there were many additions and many yess and just things that exceeded my wildest dreams.”

The pop-rock track became a worldwide hit, peaking at number 2 in Australia and the UK and number 1 on the US pop songs chart, making her the youngest artist in history to top a Billboard chart.
She returned to the limelight in 2006 with the hit “Too Little Too Late,” which reached # 3 on the Hot 100 and was awarded gold in Australia.
Unfortunately, at the height of her success, Jojo had to take a long hiatus due to contract issues with her record label.

Although her music career slowed, she continued to work as an actress, starring in RV with Robin Williams and the Lifetime film True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet.
She recently starred in the fifth season of The Masked Singer US, where she finished second from winner Nick Lachey.
Last month she released the comeback single Creature of Habit.
