Harry and Meghan’s baby daughter is reportedly expected on Thursday, June 10, for Prince Phillip’s birthday.
The parents-to-be are considering naming her after the late Duke, Queen or Princess Diana, The Sun reported on Saturday.
Citing royal insiders in the United States, the newspaper claimed that the Sussexes were considering naming their newborn Pip after Harry’s late grandfather or Lily after his grandmother – Queen Elizabeth II.

“The baby is due on Philips’ birthday and it would be special if it came,” the source told the newspaper. “Calling that and her Pip would be a nice way to pay tribute to Philip.
“Harry has been talking to his close friends about the due date and possible names and they are very open about it, now it’s getting close.”
Another name reportedly being considered by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their second child is Diana, after Prince Harry’s late mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
According to the bookies, Dianna is the darling of the baby’s name with odds of 4: 1.
The source told The Sun that while the names Lily and Pip “aren’t exactly traditional royal names,” the couple did not go down the traditional route as a royal couple.
The couple’s new baby will be their second after two-year-old Archie.
The news comes after Meghan and Harry were downgraded on the royal family’s official website after leaving their senior positions and moving to the United States.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now listed under Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex and the Princess Royal and Duke of York on the official website.
The growing role of the Prince of Wales as an active heir preparing to accede to the throne is reflected in his own promotion to the top of the Royal Family section on www.royal.uk.
The queen has been removed and is shown near the top of the page instead.
Despite the reshuffle, the website still claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will “balance their time between the UK and the US.”
It comes when Prince Edward and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, attended their first major interview since they were married in 1999.
The couple laughed at Harry and Meghan’s controversial Oprah interview when they insisted the Royals remain a family “no matter what.”
It was recently revealed that Sophie is one of four loyal, discreet, and “completely trustworthy” women from the Queen’s inner circle who provide vital support while she is without her beloved Prince Philip, who died on April 9 at the age of 99 Years ago died, has to live.

Elsewhere, the Princess Royal has been moved up five places on the website page to sit below the Duchess of Cambridge. And the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent have been added below, just below the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Under the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the website states: “They continue to fulfill their duty to the Queen, the Commonwealth and their patronage.
“Frogmore Cottage in the UK remains your family home.
“The Duchess will continue to support a range of charities and organizations that reflect the issues with which she has long been associated, including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare.”
Royal fans were confused when the official website went down for a moment and quickly realized the changes when it went live again.
One tweeted: “@KensingtonRoyal @RoyalFamily still has #meghanmarkle #princeharry on the royal website? Why?
“They don’t work as royals and don’t split their time between the UK and North America,” why are they being advertised on the site?
The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral marked the first time Prince Harry returned to the UK since he and his wife Meghan resigned from their high-ranking royal positions.
It’s another blow after the revelations that the Earl and Countess of Wessex will join Prince Charles in a stripped-down monarchy.
Yesterday, in their first interview together since their wedding in 1999, the Earl and Countess of Wessex jokingly asked, “Oprah who?” and ‘Which interview?’ when asked if they had watched Harry and Meghan’s bomb sit down with the US chat show host
Harry and Meghan previously complained that they felt “ousted” by the company after deciding to step down from their higher rank.
Yesterday, in their first interview together since their wedding in 1999, the Earl and Countess of Wessex jokingly asked, “Oprah who?” and ‘Which interview?’ when asked if they had seen Harry and Meghan’s bomb sit down with the US chat show host.
They also pondered Prince Philip a little over a month since his funeral – with Prince Edward describing how coronavirus restrictions created an “extremely strange” ceremony and the particularly poignant moment “when it all stopped”.
In the first public comments by the Wessexes since that momentous day, Sophie stated: “We are still family no matter what, we always will be.”
The Countess of Wessex also admitted having had a “long conversation” with Harry after the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April.
A royal source previously commented on the Countess of Wessex’s close relationship with the queen. “Sophie is like another daughter to the Queen, they are so close,” they said. “She is trusted and relied on like few others”
Sophie and her husband, the Earl of Wessex, who married at Windsor Castle 22 years ago, said they were “flattered” to have taken on a more prominent role in a stripped-down monarchy since Harry and Meghan’s move to California.
In an interview with The Telegraph Magazine, Sophie said she had a “long conversation” with Harry after the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April.
At the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April, Prince Edward, 57, said: “It was extremely strange to go into St George’s Chapel and find the nave completely empty.
“It’s always difficult with things like that because you are right in the middle of it and have no idea what it should look like from the outside.

The two should talk to each other at least once a day and regularly enjoy “movie afternoons” on Saturdays when they watch old films together.

The Duke of York, 61, appeared elated for the day when he waved from his horse.
The Queen’s second son pictured today recently became a first grandfather when Princess Eugenie welcomed son August Brooksbank in February.
The reports come as royal experts predicted the Duke of York was “trying to rehabilitate himself” and rejoining the royal family – despite his brother Prince Charles pushing plans for a stripped-down monarchy.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline that Andrew “obviously wants to be rehabilitated,” but must first answer FBI questions about his connections with Jeffrey Epstein.
