Victorious Leicester players and managers Brendan Rodgers celebrate with owner Top Srivaddhanaprabha as striker Youri Tielemans and captain Kasper Schmeichel dedicate an historic FA Cup triumph to his late father Vichai
Leicester Chairman Top Srivaddhanaprabha was toured Wembley with the FA Cup trophy on Saturday as the Foxes dedicated the triumph to their owner and his late father.
Youri Tielemans screamer in the second half was just enough to take Leicester’s first competitive glory and cement the club’s progress five years after their shocking success in the Premier League.
The man behind the Leicester fairy tale is Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the previous owner who tragically died in a helicopter outside King Power Stadium in 2018. His son Top has since taken command and was an important part of the celebration.

Kasper Schmeichel came out of the tunnel with the Thai businessman and was met by Wes Morgan and Brendan Rodgers for long, emotional hugs – all before the chairman got his hands on the trophy.
In the meantime, a banner in honor of Vichai hung up in the stands with the quote: “Our dreams can come true … if we have the courage to pursue them.”

“For Vichai and for Top, this is what we’ve been talking about for so many years and today it’s amazing for the fans.”

The Foxes are also only two games away from qualifying for the Champions League as Brendan Rodgers’ men continue to build muscle ahead of the Premier League Big Six.
Tielemans, who showed a talismanic depiction to get Leicester across the line, also dedicated his miracle stroke to the Srivaddhanaprabha family.
