She welcomed her son Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand in December.
And Kate Ferdinand has revealed that she felt “abnormal” and “overwhelmed” as she got used to parenting after having her little one.
Former TOWIE star, 29, said she struggled to recognize her own body and panicked when she experienced the “whirlwind of emotions” of becoming a young mother.
Honestly: Kate Ferdinand has shown that after the birth of her son Cree last December, she felt “abnormal” and “overwhelmed” to adapt to parenthood (picture 11 days after the birth).
She told The Sun, “There are so many things about motherhood that nobody tells you about it. I had the baby and was in this whirlwind of emotions. My body wasn’t the body I recognized. I felt really overwhelmed.
“I felt very abnormal and panicked. “Should I feel this way?”
She added that she was considering posting glamorous pictures in the weeks after giving birth through an emergency caesarean section, but decided against it because she didn’t really feel that way.
Kate said, “I’d love to see what I looked like before Cree, but I’m not putting any pressure on myself” (picture 2019).
Instead, 11 days after giving birth, she opted for an open selfie that showed her postpartum figure, which had a noticeable bruise on her thigh.
Now Kate says she “felt I had to share” and adds that she has received a lot of messages from other women who feel the same afterwards.
She said she believed that it was right “not always to share the perfect pictures”.

The beauty went on to explain how hard it is to look out of the “post-pregnancy bladder” after giving birth and said she felt like she would never go back to “normal” or “feel the same thing” again.
However, she added that “you will come from the other side” and “you will feel fine”.
Kate also admitted that as a young mother there is a lot of pressure to recover, but said for her it was not “realistic” to have a newborn and take care of Rio’s three other children, Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11 and Tia, nine.
She added, “I’d love to see how I looked before Cree, but I don’t put any pressure on myself because things don’t always go according to plan when you have a baby.”

On the Emotional Post, Kate said she burst into tears and felt guilty as she recovered from childbirth, which meant she couldn’t consistently “feed or change” Cree.

She wrote: ‘Day 11 … What a bubble this is … We are so obsessed with our little angel Cree. I just seem to stare at him for hours, seeing the kids and him is literally what dreams are made of and feeling completely overwhelmed
“I wanted to share that with you. That’s me … and let me add that this is a much better version of me than the last 10 days. After an emergency caesarean section and a traumatic birth, I was completely wiped out.
Parents: Kate also looked after Rio’s three other children, Lorenz (13), Tate (11) and Tia (9) (pictured with Rio).
“The happiness was overwhelming, but so were the tears and emotions. I felt like I couldn’t do what to do with Cree because I couldn’t consistently change or feed him I feel all kinds of guilt for Cree, Rio, and that I can’t do what I normally do for the kids do.
“It’s a whirlwind that I just didn’t expect … but at the same time the most perfect whirlwind.”
Kate added that she was making progress in her recovery, writing, “Getting up and holding my Bubba like this is a dream right now. When we are deprived of all of the things that we normally can do, the little things become very special.
“I feel so lucky that my great husband and children are helping me with everything.
