Laura Woods has confronted Jamie O’Hara after the former Spurs midfielder claimed Jesse Lingard should join Jose Mourinho’s side against North London rivals Arsenal.
Lingard has had a fruitful period at West Ham after joining on loan from Manchester United in January. David Moyes scored eight goals in nine games trying to secure an unlikely spot in the Champions League the next season.
The 28-year-old’s glowing form has linked him to the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Inter Milan this week, while Premier League club Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the Englishman.
Personally, I don’t think there is any point in leaving West Ham to join Arsenal. You are average!
He should join Tottenham, we’re miles over Arsenal …

Laura Woods (L) has confronted Jamie O’Hara (R) over his comments on Arsenal and Spurs
TalkSPORT expert O’Hara said Jesse Lingard should join Tottenham against London rivals Arsenal
And O’Hara, 34, a regular expert at talkSPORT, stated that Lingard should choose to join his previous side with Mikel Artetas Gunners before the irritated breakfast host put up six succinct rebuttals against the Englishman’s claim.
“Personally, I don’t think there is any point in leaving West Ham to join Arsenal,” said the former Spurs, Wolves and Blackpool star.
“I don’t think Arsenal will be pulling trees up in the next few seasons. I can’t see them going out and spending a lot of money.
“He should go to Tottenham because they’re a club that …”
Former Spurs midfielder, 34, insisted Jose Mourinho’s side are “miles above” Arsenal
However, the breakfast show host Woods, with six replies, succinctly disproved O’Hara’s view
At this point, Woods, an Arsenal fan, interrupts her co-host to confront him about his analysis.
“Why would he go to Tottenham if he wouldn’t go to Arsenal?” she asks, to which O’Hara replies, “Because we’re miles over Arsenal”.
Woods is not convinced and replies, “Well, you are not. You are a couple of points above Arsenal at the moment.
‘Arsenal is so average. So average, ”a so far unshakable O’Hara reciprocates.
Woods then reminds O’Hara, “But you’ve just spent all morning destroying Spurs.”
Realizing that he may have made a mistake, O’Hara asks the radio station’s breakfast host to stop
“We are facing a renovation,” emphasizes O’Hara, to which Woods replies: “Your best player [Harry Kane] will likely leave in summer. ‘
“That’s true,” admits O’Hara before Woods slips the shoe on her co-host, adding, “You have a manager who makes your team not even want to play football for him.”
Realizing that he may have made a mistake comparing the two sides, O’Hara urges Woods to stop with a wry smile before the breakfast show host says, “Your fans don’t even want to see you play why Jesse Lingard want to go there? ‘
Supporters broken down the viral clip, and fans compared Woods to expert Roy Keane
Football fans have ended the exchange, with one Twitter user saying, “@laura_woodsy goes crazy with Roy Keane on Jamie O’Hara”. The talkSPORT moderator responded with laughing emojis.
‘Full of Roy Keane. So true, “wrote one fan.” If this was a soccer game, Woodsy would have just done it, “said Jamie O’Hara Haland [sic] Style. Don’t mess with Woodsy. Look at her face, not a single sign of compassion. Not to be kidding. ‘
Another user said ‘@laura_woodsy tell him how you really feel. Savage ‘.
The no-nonsense Sky Sports expert is known for not chopping up his words from the TV studio
One supporter said O’Hara was overwhelmed when he competed against the popular host. “Mismatch of the Century, when it comes to a football debate, it ruined it”.
Lingard came on the occasion that the injured Hammers Moyes’ side helped Leicester beat Leicester 3-2 in a crucial top-four fight on Sunday. This leaves them in fourth place with just seven games left in the 2020/21 season.
The Irons are just one point ahead of London rivals Chelsea in fifth, while champions Liverpool are three points behind in sixth. The Foxes are one point ahead of the East London side and run the risk of getting out of the top 4 as they did last season.
