Derek Chisora poses with British lightweight Natasha Jonas as the two prepare for their crucial bouts with Joseph Parker and Katie Taylor in Manchester on Saturday night
Derek Chisora posed with his British compatriot Natasha Jonas while flying the Union Jack flag as the two prepared for their all-important fight nights on Saturday.
Heavyweight boxer Chisora will lead the action at the Manchester Arena over the weekend as he competes against New Zealander Joseph Parker for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight Title.
Jonas, meanwhile, has the daunting task of facing the undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor, who brought her WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts and ring heavyweight titles to the line on Saturday night.

The two Brits meet, and the 36-year-old Jonas enters the ring around 9 p.m. just before Chisora.
Chisora, who last lost to Oleksandr Usyk in late October, will face Parker, who currently has four wins.
But former WBO heavyweight title holder Parker has lost his last two fights on the British coast – both came to Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte in 2018.
The bout was recently cast into doubt when Chisora threatened to walk away from Saturday’s bout after losing a coin toss to determine whose ring run would run out last.

The 36-year-old Liverpool fighter has won nine of her eleven career fights
The British manager, David Haye, went to Chisora’s hotel room to calm him down after the controversy. Frank Smith from Matchroom Boxing was also involved in the discussions.
Meanwhile, light fighter Jonas will enter the competition on Saturday after winning nine of her eleven career fights. The Liverpool-born boxer played against Britain’s Terri Harper last time. Jonas’ only career defeat came in 2018 against Brazilian Viviane Obenauf.
Irish boxer Taylor, on the other hand, has won all 17 of her fights, but only six of them are from knockout games.
The 34-year-old last met Jonas nine years ago when Taylor defeated Liverpudlian in the quarter-finals of the London 2012 Olympics before winning the gold medal.
