“For all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel you,” the caption of a photo showing her standing on rocks near water and the sun coming through the clouds. “The universe works in a mysterious way and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense … but I hope light shines through all the dark clouds.”
In November 2020, Wilson announced that she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, a hormonal disorder that can lead to weight gain and make it difficult for women to reproduce.
“Sometimes I’m sad, but at the same time I’ve been working my body to my advantage,” she added. “I like all sizes. It’s turning 40, I’m more health conscious and thinking about starting a family.”
“I was thinking about fertility and had good quality eggs in the bank, so I was like, ‘OK, I’ll do this, I’ll get well,” she said.
